Supply of Yorkstone
During 1994 and following many years of consultation and publication, Ashford Borough Council took the decision to pedestrianise part of the Town Centre known as Lower High Street.
The detailed design of the scheme involved the use of many different natural stone materials and this included some 1800m2 of Random Riven Yorkstone paving supplied from your Flappitt Quarry.
The material was delivered to the construction site with the requirement for a 3 day prior notice period and it was pleasing to report that without exception all deliveries were received on time and with the requisite notice having been given.
